Stretch Your Stash for Holiday Cardmaking

Hi crafty friends! Thank you for stopping by my blog. Today's post features Concord and 9th products that I purchased and had not had a chance to play with. Due to this, I decided to combine a few things to make stunning holiday cards for your favorite cup lovers.

First up is this beauty using the Festive Blooms and H2Hello dies from Concord and 9th. I wanted to stretch the festive blooms beyond their normal composition, so I used the standalone flowers to make the card more festive. I used Cardstock Warehouse papers in:

  • Lessebo Cherry, Moss

  • Colorplan Chartreuse, White

  • Stardream Gold

  • Birch Wood Veneer

I die cut and assembled the floral pieces, adding Byzantine Green Glitz ink to the chartruese pieces. I assembled the red portion of the inspired cup and used the gold Flower Garden transfer over it. I then finished assembly of the cup. For the background, I grabbed the music sheet from the White Holiday Collage transfers and burnished that onto the birch card panel. All that was left to do was to arrange and adhere everything and add a JOY sentiment.

The card above can be considered a scrap buster card as I used many of the leftover supplies from the first card to create it. This time I added the remainder of the music sheet transfers onto Blossom cardstock. I assembled a green cup this time and added on a leftover above card uses the same sentiment with Bubblegum and White cardstocks. I love the simplicity of the cup design and how the gold pops. The sentiment is from the H2Hello stamp set and can be used for many occasions. To keep it festive, the inside sentiment will be geared towards the holidays.

I hope these two cards provide you with a bit of inspiration for your holiday cardmaking.

Happy crafting,

Natasha
