Discover the Latest Trends: Unveiling the Carissa Wiley Collection for you to Shine Bright

Hi crafty friends!

I happy to join you today with two projects featuring the Shine Bright Collection by Carissa Wiley from Spellbinders. The disco balls alone are a major draw for me.

Pink and Silver Disco Ball card using the Shine Bright Collection

Using the Disco Impressions Betterpress plates, I foiled them using a variety of silver foils. I then used the Layered Disco Impressions stencil and the Cherry Blossom fresh dye inks to add more color. I then die cut these out with the accompanying circle dies. Next, I used the darkest color of ink to add splatter to a white panel. I also used that color to swipe color onto a second panel of white cardstock and die cut the sentiment backer using the Shine Bright Dies. Using leftover foil foiled onto a panel, I die cut the shine letters and adhered them to the backer.

To assemble, I added black thread to the back along on the top of each disco ball. I then popped each disco ball up using foam squares, overlapping as I went. I adhered my strings to the back of the splattered panel. Once my sentiment was in place on top of the disco balls, I affixed the panel to a piece of holographic cardstock.

Using essentially the same steps as above, I created disco balls using light pink foil. For the background, I smooshed ink and water onto a card panel. I used the Pink Diamond ink for the letters in shine and Pinkalicious on the A2 panel background. To finish this off, I added a few sequins.

I hope I have given you a bit of inspiration. I love how these cards turned out. I foiled a ton, so I hope to make more cards in the near future to share. All products that I used are linked throughout the post. Thank you for joining me!

Happy crafting,

Natasha
