Holiday Crafts Using Spellbinders Products

Hi crafty friends! Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Today's post gives you all of the details of recent projects that I have created using Spellbinders products.

I took my time and pressed the December Holly Berry press plate all over a white cotton panel. This process required adding Byzantine Green Ink and wiping away the ink where the berries are. Once that was pressed, I used Cherry ink for the berries and pressed that. It was not a perfect application, but all berries are not perfectly red, so I was okay with that. I then used the Notched Corner Frames to die cut the panel, as well as a smaller panel of vellum. Again using the Byzantine Green, I carefully pressed the holly berry plate again, this time not worrying about the berries being green. I covered those with gold half pearls.

The sentiment comes from the Colorful Expressions Sentiments die set. I swiped the Gold Lisa Horton ink onto white paper to get the beautiful gold. I also used the ink to go around the A2 panel very subtly. I then layered the notched panels and popped the sentiment up using foam tape. Finally, I added a few gems to the corners to adorn them.

This cute fox comes from the Felt Stitch Collection by Nichol Spohr. I die cut the pieces from Woodland paper and then stiched them with dark brown embroidery floss. This can be used on a card, but I will adding this as an ornament on my tree.

Finally, for this reindeer ornament, I used faux leather from my stash. I will worn that the faux leather may require a few runs through your die cut machine, but I love the patterns and outcome. I used white embroidery floss around the face and dark brown for the mouth. I chose not use it for the other areas that have holes. This set comes with the body as well.

I hope these projects have provided you with a little inspiration for your holiday crafting.

Happy crafting,

Natasha
