Hi Crafty Friends!
I am still on a bee kick and have fallen in love with this pink lemonade combo of colors. You will see that throughout this month a lot of my projects feature these colors. Before I move on, inspiration for this card comes from the Hero Arts Stay Crafty Challenge. The theme for June 2023 is sentiments.
Using the beautiful backgrounds that I previously created as my inspiration, I watercolored the Honey Pot Fancy Die to coordinate using Picked Raspberry and Mustard Seed. The bees and flight trails are from the Bees and Flowers Fancy Dies. I used a grey alcohol marker on the wings and mustard seed ink + black marker for the body. The honey was created by mixing residual mustard seed ink with Glossy Highlights. My sentiment 'hello' is from the Friend Words Fancy Dies. I cut it out of foam and solid white cardstock.
All of my elements are adhered to a vellum panel which is them overlayed on my watercolored patterned paper. I used a white pen to add highlights here and there. Overall, I am extremely happy with how this card turned out. Let me know what you think down below.
