Hi crafty friends! The August Hero Studio is now available and I am so in love with the theme. The tropical and jungle motifs are perfect! I had a blast creating with the card kit and Extraordinary Extras.
Using reactive inks and the card kit, I created the layered greenery. The Parrots were stamped with Cherry and Nautical core inks. The font combo on the stamps is lovely, so I paired two sentiments to show those off.
The card kit this month is filled with so many great things. It includes papers, Hero Wax, and even two NEW unreleased reactive glitz cubes. If you's like to be one of the first to play with those inks, you should definitely subscribe!

I also want to highlight the Clear Stamp and Die Set of the month. I added dimension using acetate for this card.
I stamped and heat embossed the images with gold embossing powder onto watercolor paper. I then used liquid watercolors to bring each flower and leaf to life. The sentiment is stamped in Pitch Black ink and topped with clear embossing powder to ensure no smudging.
The images and sentiments in this set can be used for so many cards and occasions. This is definitely a versatile set that I think you should have in your stash. I know I will be reaching for this one often.
